Brian Scott Blake, 55 years old, son of Jacqueline Jonas Blake Goforth and the late Harvey Dean Blake, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center as a result of suffering a stroke. Brian was born on January 15, 1969, in Spartanburg and lived his entire life in the county. He was educated locally and in his working years, was a self-employed roofer.
He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Goforth of Chesnee, Brother, Jason (Laura Grace) Blake of Clover, South Carolina, sisters, Jessica (Jason) Lamb of Chesnee and Amanda (Charlie) Blake Thornton of Chesnee.
Brian was predeceased by his brother, Jeffrey Blake, in 2022.
Brian's family invites friends for visitation on Thursday, February 15, 2024, 12:00-1250 pm, in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Joey Mills of Center Cross officiating. Burial will be at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee.
