Brian William Boland, Sr., 38, passed away, Friday, August 12, 2022, at his home in Laconia. He was born May 30, 1984, in Corydon, IN. He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jersey Shores, PA. Brian was a boy scout and loved the woods and the water, he was a great fisherman. He was a chef and loved to cook. He was a loving family man and deeply loved his 3 sons and he was a born-again Christian. He was preceded in death by his brother, Levi Smith, his grandparents, Patricia Bolen and Carl Edwards and John and Annie Boland. He is survived by his sons, Brian William Boland, Jr., and Peyton Boland both of Corydon, IN and Tyberius Booker of Alton, IN; parents, Michael Boland (Connie) of Avis, PA and Constance Edwards Hamilton (Gary) of Laconia IN; sisters, Jennifer Sexton (Rocca) of Lansdale, PA and Ramona Carver (John) of Mauckport, IN. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN with burial to follow in Otterbein Cemetery. Pastor Frank Pendleton will be the officiant. Visitation will be from 12 PM to 8 PM Friday, August 19, 2022, and on Saturday from 9 AM until the service at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Carl Edwards, Mason Dillard, Tanner Bolen, Bill Dillard, Scott Bean, and Lynn Hunt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian William Boland, Jr., Peyton Boland and Ronnie Ferree.
