Obituary published on Legacy.com by MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel on May 14, 2025.
Brian Ottis Boyatt, 50, of Winchester, IN, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by loved ones and in the comforts of home. He was born in Muncie, IN, on October 22, 1974, a son of William and Charlene (Davis) Boyatt. Brian was a 1994 graduate of Monroe Central High School and was formerly employed in Die Maintenance for FCC. He is the loving husband of Joanna I. (Harris) Boyatt who he happily married on August 1, 2001. Brian was a member of the Farmland Conservation Club, a gun enthusiast, huge Kentucky Basketball fan, and enjoyed watching movies, and Jeopardy. This wonderful, quiet, smart, loving and honest man, had an excellent memory, and a brain for trivia but above all things he cherished his time with family, his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his parents Bill and Charlene Boyatt, his wife Joanna Boyatt, son Mason Ottis Boyatt (Emilie Allen), daughter Mia Ann Marie Boyatt (Dalton Harris), 2 brothers; Jeff Stevens, Bill Boyatt, and 2 grandchildren; Brayden Harris and Gabriel Harris. Brian was preceded in death by his sister Sheila Smith. As per his wishes there will be no formal funeral services. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.
