Gary Bogue Obituary

Gary L. Bogue, 75, of Yorktown, IN, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 peacefully surrounded by love and in the comforts of his home. Gary was born in Elwood, IN, on August 29, 1952, a son of the late Robert Benjamin and Mary Lavena (McCord) Bogue. He attended Monroe Central High School, was formerly employed as a Mechanic for Anchor Hocking, and proudly served in the Army National Guard for 8 years. Gary was the loving husband of Karen Louise (Glidewell) Bogue who he happily married on September 30, 1969. He was an avid golfer and member of both Hickory Hills and Winchester Golf Clubs. Gary is survived by his precious wife Karen L. Bogue, 3 sons; Michael Shane Bogue (Julie), Jeffrey Dale Bogue (Melinda), Peyton Bogue, 3 brothers; Ray Bogue, Paul Bogue (Debbie), David Bogue (Fannie), 3 sisters; Naomi Bogue, Sharon DuVall (Doug), and Marie Whitehead (Noe'), 4 granddaughters, 1 great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary Bogue, 1 brother; Daniel Bogue, 1 sister; Becky (Bogue) Pratt, and sister in law; Terri Bogue. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 privately at Woodlawn Cemetery in Farmland, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.
