Brian Craig Cain II, born on January 3, 1979, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, passed away on November 17, 2025, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was a devoted father, loving grandfather, cherished son, and brother, known for his compassionate personality and dedication to his family.
Brian attended Jeffersonville High School, where he laid the foundation for a life that included an enthusiasm for collecting. Brian had a passion for spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. He was known for his love of tinkering, often taking things apart and putting them back together, which showcased his inquisitive nature and hands-on approach to life.
He is survived by his father, Brian Craig Cain, I.; mother, Donna Ruth Cain; daughter, Crystal Sears; sons, Brian Craig Cain III, Matthew Cain, Caleb Cain, and Dylan Cain; sister, Hali (Alonzo) Shepherd; granddaughters, Zoie Sears and Harper Cain; grandson, Mason Daugherty; granddaughter, Willow Cain; and cousins, Mercury Cougler and Wayne Cougler Jr., and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts..
Brian was predeceased by his brother, Jeremy Cain; grandmother, Helen Calloway; grandfather, Clarence Cain, I.; grandmother, Shirley Cain; and uncle, Wayne Cougler Sr.
His proudest accomplishment was watching his family grow and flourish, a testament to the love and dedication he offered throughout his life.
Visitation for Brian will be held on November 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana, located at 3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150. The service will conclude at 3:00 PM.
Brian Craig Cain II leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strong family bonds, and he will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
