Brian Carlton Obituary
Born in Akron, he was a resident of Munroe Falls since 2016, a graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron with a degree in civil engineering and had been employed with GPD Group as a civil engineer.
Brian enjoyed skateboarding, spending time outdoors, and playing video games, especially with his friends in the Echo online community. Brian attended Christ Community Chapel in Hudson, was an avid runner, loved his pets, and above all, spending time with his sons.
Preceded in death by his father, Gerald Carlton, he is survived by his wife, Amanda Carlton (nee Sampson); sons, Benjamin and Micah; mother, Dolores Carlton; stepmother, Blanche Carlton; brothers, Joe (Julie), Tom (Michele) Finlaw; sister, Amber Carlton, and father and mother-in-law, Jere and Karen Sampson.
Pastor Chris Laws will conduct a memorial service on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at Stow Alliance, 4460 Stow Road, Stow 44224. Friends may call Sunday, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224. The family has requested that those attending services wear skateboarding or band clothing.
