Brian Codding Obituary
Brian was born on January 23, 1972, in Akron, Ohio, and is survived by his father, Craig (Esta) Codding, of Medina, OH; mother, Susan (Wright-Codding) Barath, of Harrisonburg, VA; stepfather, Randall Barath, of Harrisonburg, VA; son, Alden Craig Codding, of Medina; godmother, Sandra Ross, of Granger, OH; brothers, Robert (Sarah), of Cocoa, FL, and Eric (Heather), of Harrisonburg, VA; sister, Annette Barath, of Akron, OH, and the love of his life for the past fourteen years, Kathy Kouvakas, of Wooster, OH, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will also miss him greatly.
Brian's warm presence and easy humor were just the right touch for any occasion. His love for people, his bright mind, and his constant curiosity gave him success in many endeavors, including his father's company, early in his career, and in the trades, where he was an accomplished electrician.
Brian was a very proud father of his remarkable son, Alden. He enjoyed "wrenching" on old trucks, scuba diving, and target practice. In recent years, he and Kathy loved attending a number of Christian concerts, where Brian found deep joy in worship.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, at Victory Life Church, 3833 Hudson Drive, Stow, 44224, on Saturday, January 20, 2024, where a Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11 AM.

The deep and personal conversations. We were alot alike.
His amazing knowledge of mechanics and electronics. He has inspired me to learn more about these things.
He told me last Fall how he misses the summer evening hangouts together, particularly working on his '65 truck. And that he wished that's how life was...and I agreed:)
