Brian James Coppinger was born to Cynthia Burger (formerly Shingleton) and Carl Coppinger on December 31, 1988 in Portland Oregon. Brian was the youngest of 4 children and the only boy, raised in a loving home with his sisters by his grandparents Carolyn and Carol Coppinger. Like most boys took a liking to cars and developed a passion for NASCAR, his favorite racer was Dale Earnhardt growing up and later he developed a love for working on cars. I believe that was due to his joy of taking things apart and putting them back together again. He loved all animals but especially dogs, enjoyed country music, loved fishing and had a passion for camping. He worked a lot of odd jobs over the years and became a jack of many trades. Brian passed away February 6, 2026 in Multnomah county and was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents. He is survived by his two children Kaleigh Wills and Keagan Coppinger as well as his three older sisters, Crystal Coppinger, Angela Coppinger and April Doty (formerly Coppinger.) He will be remembered for his contagious smile, unforgettable laugh, his sense of humor and depth of the love he carried for those he cared about.
