Brian J. Dwyer of East Bridgewater passed away suddenly on October 27th, 2025. He was 58 years old.
Brian was born in Boston and grew up in Randolph. He graduated from Blue Hills Regional Technical School in 1985, where he excelled at math and problem solving. From an early age, he was always surrounded by large groups of friends, and he carried most of these friendships throughout his life.
Brian was a devoted father who always found a way to give his children what they needed, and often what they wanted, whether that meant a little extra help to keep a car running or treating them to the latest video game. He was there for the early-morning hockey practices and even stepped behind the bench to coach for a few seasons. Later in life, when the sports schedules had come to an end, he valued any chance to share a meal with his sons, catching up and enjoying time together.
Brian was incredibly hardworking and was a well-loved employee and coworker. Brian worked for several different companies over the years as a plumber. He began his career with Copley Pharmaceuticals in Canton and then later worked for Preferred Mechanical in Pembroke, and most recently the Local 537 Pipefitter's Union. Brian was extremely handy and was always willing to help family and friends with projects.
Outside of work he often relaxed by watching Boston sports, and like many loyal fans, Brian endured the "drought" of Boston championships for much of his early life. As a result, Brian always made the effort to bring his boys into the city for the victory parades, passing on the wisdom: "Enjoy it while it lasts".
Brian is predeceased by both of his parents, James and Bridget (McDonagh) Dwyer.
He is survived by his three sons, Joseph Dwyer and wife Brittany of Raleigh, NC, Kyle Dwyer of Fall River, and Mitchell Dwyer of Pembroke. Grandfather of Luca Dwyer of Raleigh, NC. Brother of John Dwyer and wife Kimberly of Clearwater, FL, and Paul Dwyer of Duxbury. He also leaves behind three nephews and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, November 20th, 2025 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 35 Spring Street,
East Bridgewater, MA 02333 from 10 AM – 12 PM. A service will begin in the funeral home at 12 PM. Burial to follow at Central Cemetery in East Bridgewater.
