Francis Kincaid Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cartmell-Davis Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. - Main Office on Dec. 13, 2025.
Surrounded by his family, Francis Michael "Frank" Kincaid, age 75, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025.
Frank grew up in West Virginia and was a graduate of Shady Spring High School. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Little Rock for four years. After his honorable discharge, Frank attended Blue Hills Regional Technical School in Canton, Massachusetts, where he studied carpentry. He worked as a carpenter until the age of 30, when he chose to further his education at Calhoun Engineering School in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon graduating, Frank began a career as a marine engineer.
A member of the Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association (MEBA), Frank had the unique opportunity to sail around the world-an experience he deeply cherished.
Frank was a devoted family man and is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda M. (Kenneally) Kincaid. He also leaves his daughter, Cyndi Kincaid and her partner Duane DeGowin of Plymouth; his son, Sam Kincaid, and daughter-in-law Kelly Kincaid of Kingston. Frank was a very proud grandfather, affectionately known as "Poppy" to his grandchildren: Kayla Lynn Kincaid of West Palm Beach, Florida; Allison Nicole Pacheco and Matthew Francis Pacheco, both of Plymouth; and his great-granddaughter, Sofia Nicole Ray of West Palm Beach, Florida. He is also survived by his beloved dog and loyal companion, Gracie.
In addition to being a proud Navy veteran, Frank was an active member of the Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion.
Frank's interests included motorcycling and RV traveling. Above all, he treasured time spent with family and friends, especially his in-laws Sharon and Dave LeBeau of Weymouth, Massachusetts; Jack and Jacqui Kenneally of Hillsborough, North Carolina; Joyce Kenneally of Tamarac, Florida; and his closest friend, Eugene Gordy, and his wife Malinda of Quicksburg, Virginia.
In Frank's memory, the family kindly asks that, should you be inclined, donations be made to Fisher House, which provides lodging for family members of patients receiving care at the VA Hospital in West Roxbury, allowing them to stay close to their loved ones during treatment.
