Brighton, Brian Francis Fisher, age 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. He was the loving son of the late Francis E. Fisher and Beverly C. (Brown) Fisher.
Brian grew up in Taunton and was a proud graduate of Coyle Cassidy High School. Brian started his career as a traveling lineman throughout the U.S. and Canada. He continued working as a lineman for the Town of North Attleboro and later as a lineman for Braintree Power and Light. After retirement, Brian owned and operated a construction business, BF Fisher, Inc for twenty five years. He was a licensed contractor who worked for the City of Taunton. He volunteered many hours helping others and donating equipment when it was needed.
Brian spent time in Florida and enjoyed Cape Cod throughout his life. He was an avid sports fan, rooting for the New England teams, Brian loved music, especially oldies. He was a true animal lover who rescued many animals over the years. Above all, Brian loved spending time with family and friends.
Brian is survived by his sister, Kristi Bradshaw and her husband Lawrence, of Taunton. He was the loving uncle to Ryan Bradshaw, Randy Bradshaw and Matthew Bradshaw, and leaves 6 great nieces and nephews. His lifelong friend Diane Silvia of Dighton. In addition to his parents, Brian is preceded in passing by his brother, Jeffrey Fisher of Lakeville.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours of Thursday, July 27th from 9:30 -11 am. with a funeral home service at 11 am. Burial will immediately follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
