Brian Frokjer Obituary
Born to Grant and Eileen Frokjer on August 7, 1953, in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, Brian was the second of seven children. He graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School in Roseville, MN, in 1971. On November 30, 1979, Brian married the love of his life, Arlene. Together, they raised two children, Nikki and Chad, who meant the world to him. In 1991, Brian and Arlene purchased their family home in Maplewood, where Brian took great pride in caring for his home, yard, and providing for his family.
Brian retired as a lead window installer at Renewal by Andersen, where he dedicated over 17 years of service. He was known for his commitment to customer satisfaction and his knack for getting the job done right the first time.
Brian was a passionate fan of the Minnesota Vikings and football. He enjoyed cheering for his team during every game. His enthusiasm for the sport brought joy to many gatherings with family and friends.
Brian is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Arlene; his daughter, Nikki (Joe) Silver; daughter-in-law, Leslie (Jeremy) Prince; grandsons, Eli Frokjer and Ryan Prince; sisters, Renee Hunt, Lynn Thompson (Bill Evans), and Connie Vick, along with many relatives and friends.
Brian was joyfully reunited in heaven with his son, Sgt. Chad Frokjer, USMC; his parents, Grant and Eileen Frokjer; brothers, Kevin Frokjer and Mike Frokjer; sister, Denise Jenni; brother-in-law, Sgt. Jerry Vick and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 1 pm, with a visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 2499 N Helen St, North St. Paul. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. We invite you to join us for a continued celebration of Brian's life, where we can share stories and memories, at 3 pm at the VFW in North St. Paul.
Brian will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his kind and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
