Gary Frokjer Obituary
Gary enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1970, where he met and married his wife, Chris. During their 50 years of marriage, they had two children: Valerie and Rodney, and traveled the world as a military family, civilians, and retirees. Gary would strike up a conversation with anyone, often turning strangers into lifelong friends. His greatest joys came from outdoor adventures, and he loved spending time with loved ones while snowmobiling, horseback riding, hunting, and fishing, among other activities.
He is survived by his wife, Chris Frokjer; two children, Valerie (JJ) Frokjer and Rodney (Brandi) Frokjer; grandson, Colby Frokjer (who he knows will grow up to be a famous golf or football star); and two brothers, Randy (Katie) Frokjer and Greg (Jan) Frokjer. He will also be missed by his nieces, Becca (Andrew), Stefani (Ken); nephew, Jimmy (Becky), who he was very proud of. Also chosen sister Liliana (Jim) Whalen. He has MANY friends he calls family who will miss him dearly.
A memorial will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Myers Mortuary in Roy, Utah, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, with Military Honors at 2:00 PM
