Marvin Lynn Price
January 3, 1967 – September 29, 2025
Marvin Lynn Price (Marv) passed away on September 29, 2025 after a long battle with many medical conditions. For many years his home was always filled with family and friends. Marv had a powerful personality which made all those around him feel very special.
Born in North
Ogden, Utah and educated in the Weber School District, he graduated from Weber High School in 1985. Marv was a great athlete and played baseball, football, and basketball.
Marv learned how to cook at a young age after his mother passed away. Over the years his love of cooking brought many family members and friends to his house to enjoy steaks, prime rib, and his famous BLT sandwiches. Marv also enjoyed eating out in the local areas. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner was always at the best of the best.
Marv went to the University of Utah and graduated with a master's degree in engineering. He worked at Autoliv as a Production Supervisor, and later worked at American Excelsior Company, as a Territory Manager until his passing.
Dogs were always a big part of his life. He always had several dogs that he treated as his family. Whenever you visited his home, you were always greeted by his four-legged family members.
Marv enjoyed supporting the New York Yankees. He made several trips to see the team in the old and new Yankee Stadium. Marv flew the Yankee flag at his home under the American flag. If the Yankees were playing, he was watching no matter the location.
He hunted all his life. He enjoyed deer, elk and bird hunting with family and friends. He made many trips to the surrounding states. He was known for his fall hunting trips staying at the family trailer in Bear Lake. Another passion was being an excellent fisherman. He loved to go fishing in Island Park and the Gorge.
Marv is preceded in death by his father Carl Price, mother Donna Price (Siddoway), Sister Susan Frazier (Frank), sister Carla Brunson (Roy) brother Mike Price, and niece Jeniffer Child (Brunson).
Marv is survived by his wife Shanna, her daughters Ally, Monica, and Breanne, two sons Tyson Price and Derrik Schweppe, stepmother Carol Price, stepbrother Joe Humphreys, nephews Josh, Jed, John and Justin, nieces Krystal, Donna, Dedra, Angela, Laura, uncles Ron, Lynn, Lyle, and Dean, brother-in-law Roy Brunson and Frank Tingey.
Marv will have a viewing on Friday October 3rd, 2025 from 6-8pm at Myer's Mortuary on 845 Washington Blvd. There will be no funeral services. However, family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at Marv's home on Saturday October 4th, 2025 from 3pm-7pm.
