Julie Pickford Lloyd Romph returned to her heavenly home on October 6, 2025. She knew she would once again be in the arms of our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. Also awaiting Julie was her eternal companion, Kevin, and all her family and friends that had previously stepped through the veil.

Oh! What a joyful reunion and one that she looked forward to.

Julie was born on October 19, 1954, to Leo Carl "Pete" and Donna Berrett Pickford in Ogden, Utah. Julie was the youngest of 4 children and always treasured that position in her family. She grew up in North Ogden, Utah and attended Weber County schools graduating from Weber High School in 1972. She had a pleasant childhood and enjoyed her associations with family, friends and classmates.

She was employed by Mountain Bel/U S West for 15 years; during this time, she was given many opportunities for training and growth. She developed wonderful friendships and cherished memories with her work associates. While working in Salt Lake City, she met John Lloyd. They developed a close friendship which grew and developed into a marriage relationship. This union was the welcoming place for their two children, Jeffrey Daniel and Jennifer Ashley Lloyd. Julie was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. She found joy in the service of her children, always welcoming friends into their home, volunteering with the PTA and supporting her children in their various interests and passions. Being a mom to Jeff and Jenny was one of the greatest and most cherished blessings of her life.

The next stage of life found her in the workforce and the dating world again. She worked at Hammerton for 14 years before retiring in 2018. During this time, she met the love of her life, Kevin Dean Romph. They married in 2009 and had over 13 magical years together filled with love, laughter and family. Their marriage blessed Julie's life with the addition of four "bonus" children and 17 of their 20 grandchildren plus 3 great-granddaughters.

Julie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was blessed with faith and the opportunity of being raised with gospel principles. She served in various organizations using her talents, and grew and developed in each calling she served in.

Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Dean Romph, her parents, her oldest brother, Larry Carl Pickford and two precious granddaughters, Neveah MacKay and Rebel Grace MacKay. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Daniel Lloyd, Jennifer Ashley Lloyd (Raul Abad), Justin (Traci) Romph, Brenda (Chad) MacKay, Trenton (Kelsey) Romph, Maura Romph (Nick Asay), and siblings Susan (Richard) Glaser and Greg Pickford, sister-in-law Madelyn Pickford, 18 grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters.

Julie's family expresses their gratitude for the excellent care she received from the entire Huntsman Cancer Institute team and staff during her cancer journey.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:00 – 10:45 AM with a funeral to follow at 11:00 AM at Larkin Mortuary – Riverton (3688 W. 12600 So. Riverton, UT 84065). Interment will be held at Riverton City Cemetery.
