Jeffrey Byers

Remember with us the life of Jeffrey Byers, who was known by many fun-loving nicknames: K3, Babe, Big Daddy, Jeff-O, Fam, Jeffy. Born in Ogden, Utah on January 22, 1979, Jeffrey lived an enriched life until October 13, 2025. He was a loving husband, a dedicated father, a reliable friend, and a courageous fighter. As Walt Disney said, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them" - the courage Jeffrey displayed throughout his life was truly inspiring.

Jeffrey was known for his love of fishing, camping, and taking drives to see wildlife. He was also quite the traveler and was always happiest when surrounded by his friends and family. He had a special fondness for cuddling with his three cats, Mavis, Baby Kitty, and Feekie, and playing rope with his dog, Mayzee. Jeffrey was a dedicated worker at Stauffer's Road Solutions, where he served as an Environmental Specialist and Yard Manager. His resilience was remarkable as he was a kidney transplant recipient in 2018. One of his most significant achievements was ensuring his family was always taken care of; he was the most selfless person. He would do anything for anyone and was a loyal supporter of everyone that knew him.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Sonya Byers, whom he married on August 24, 2006, and their children; Cody Lyon, Samantha Byers, Dallen Byers, and Lexie Taylor. He also leaves behind his mother Sheryl Byers, sister Stephanie (Gary) Mobley, and his beloved nieces and nephews; Kenzie Mobley, Emmett Mobley, Chad Buck, Tj (April) Seabolt, Whitney (Kayla) Martinez, and his great-nieces and nephews; Raddox, Ashlee, and Everett. He was preceded in death by his father, Shawn Byers.

In the words of Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." As we remember Jeffrey, let's celebrate his life and the joy he brought into ours. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT from 6:00-8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025 at 1 P.M. at Myers Mortuary with a viewing prior from 12-12:45 P.M. The interment will be held at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.
