Brian "GrubbLife" K. Grubb, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2026. Brian was born on March 26, 1980 in Columbus, Ohio to Terrie Hubbard.
He is preceded in death by Grandfathers, Kennison G. Grubb, Thad E. Helfer. Stepfather, Carl P. Roth. Uncle, Robert Richards Jr. Nephew, Jeremiah T. Manter, and beloved cat, Gizzard.
Brian is lovingly survived by his mother, Terrie (Steve) Hubbard, and father, Roy (Patricia) Richards Sr. He leaves behind his siblings: Rachele, Roy Jr., and Elizabeth (Thomas), who will carry his spirit within them. His soulmate, Ciara, stands as a beacon of love and remembrance in this time of grief. The loss is felt deeply across the family, including his grandmothers, Mary and Sandra; aunts, Jeannie and Taunua; uncles, Uncle B (Lisa); and a multitude of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and his homies who are left to cherish his memory.
He attended Clinton Middle School and Mifflin High School.
Brian's journey through life was marked by loyalty and love, traits that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a gentle giant, fiercely protective of his family and friends, always standing steadfastly by those he cherished. His warmth and dedication were unmatched, as he would go above and beyond, ensuring that those he loved were enveloped in his unwavering support.
He loved his special pets, Blu and Baby Kitten. He enjoyed building things and taking them apart. He was unintentionally hilarious.
He will be deeply missed.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43231 for calling hours from 4pm-6pm with a funeral service starting at 6pm.
