Robert L. "Bob" Haury, 90, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026. He was born in Louisville, KY on September 15, 1935, to the late Leroy J. and Carrie O. (Clements) Haury. He was also preceded in death by his brother Jack (Helen), Bill (Bonny) Haury and his sister JoAnn (Jim) Morris.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Haury and sons Matt and Brian (Gretchen) Haury, step-daughters Kim Swanson (Chuck), Kelly Nally, sister-in-law Rosalie Smith; siblings Joyce (Bernie) Fussennegger, Gloria (Gary) Wachtel, Charles (Shirley) Haury; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Bob had many friends, especially from Ashland Chemical, Dublin, Ohio, where he retired from after 40 years of service. He graduated from Flaget High School '53 and Bellarmine University '63 (night school), in Louisville, KY. Bob proudly served in the US Army at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD from 1954-1957.
He was an avid golfer for over 70 years and played on golf teams in High School, College and in the Army. Bob was fortunate to have made 2 hole-in-ones.
In lieu of a memorial service, Bob wished for all to celebrate his life in a way that is meaningful to them.
