Indianapolis, Indiana – Brian E. Guhl, 65, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024.
Brian was born to parents Paul and Betty (Dowell) Guhl on November 19, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School, where he was a member of the marching band and the Howe Madrigal Singers. He went on to attend classes at IUPUI.
Brian wore many hats through his life. He began working at the Arlington Theater, managing a Pizza Hut restaurant, a salesman and sales manager for Western Southern. Then Brian joined NOW Courier as a dispatcher where he worked for 18 years until moving on to Pillow Logistics.
When not working, Brian could be found relaxing by bowling, playing putt-putt, or playing cards with his family. He was a master at movie, history, and music trivia. He enjoyed the Beatles the most and loved to get lost in their music.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Betty Guhl.
Brian is survived by his siblings, Paul Guhl (Beth), Barb Guhl (Tracy), and Craig Guhl (Tracy); nephews Eric (Eileen), Todd (Nikki), Chuck (Kim), and Nathan; nieces Lindsay, Madison (Jeremy), Chelsea (Mike), and Allie (Bryce); great nephews Ryan (Natalie), Nick (Destiny), Andy, Matthew, Christopher, David, and Alex.
Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 12 pm – 2 pm with services following at 2 pm with Pastor Pat Engel officiating. Brian will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery immediately following services.
