Pagenkopf Funeral HomeBrian Gustafson passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. He was a devoted husband to Dawn Gustafson, a proud father to Nick (Alli) Gustafson, and an adoring “Papa” to his four grandchildren — Jack, Will, Charlie, and Graham Gustafson.
Brian loved watching sports, especially cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers. He also found great joy in fishing and spending time with his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he was the best “Papa” they could ever ask for — patient, playful, and endlessly loving.
Brian never took anything too seriously and had a gift for making those around him smile. We will all dearly miss his “dad jokes” — both the good and the bad — and the laughter he brought to every moment.
He is survived by his siblings Bill (Marianne) Gustafson, Susan (Larry) McClellan, and Nancy (Tom) Olson, along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss his warmth and gentle spirit.
A visitation will take place on Friday October 31st at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m.
Immediately following Mass, family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at Myxn Lakeside Beach Bar to share stories, laughter, and memories of Brian’s life.
In lieu of flowers, Brian’s family welcomes donations to AngelsGrace Hospice or Aurora Health Care Cancer Care Fund - Summit.

Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
