Brian Hall

Brian Edward Hall, 62, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas. Brian was born November 3, 1963, in Topeka to the union of Donald and Phyllis Hall.

Brian grew up in Topeka and was the middle child, he had three brothers and one sister. He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1982. After graduating, he remained close with his high school class. Brian had a variety of different jobs; he most recently enjoyed working as a culinary professional in the kitchens at Washburn University. He loved the job and the people loved him in return.

Brian loved spending time with his family, especially his children, Rachael, Danielle, and Dylan, as well as his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, float trips, disc golf, gardening, the Chiefs, and hanging out with his various friend groups. He especially loved any and everything to do with his dogs.

Brian is survived by his children, Rachael (Aaron) Schmidtlein, Danielle, and Dylan; grandchildren, Corinne, Isla, Aiden; father, Donald Hall; and siblings, David (Shelly), Gregg, Andrea, and Daron (Jenni); several nieces and nephews; and his three dogs, Chief, Kelce, and Shunga.

Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Hall.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2025, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614.
