Brian Keith Harrington, 69, of Pittsfield, passed away on September 26, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born in Pittsfield on July 17, 1956, Brian was the son of the late Robert and Beverly (Hinman) Harrington and a graduate of Pittsfield High School, Class of 1974.

Brian spent part of his career as a machine operator at Eaton Paper before finding his favorite job as a driver for Manning's Livery. Driving gave him the chance to do what he loved-meet people, hear their stories and share his, and spend hours listening to music on the road. One of his proudest moments was using the company limo to drive his kids to their graduations and other big milestones.

Brian loved fishing at local spots, card games, and any chance to laugh and spend time with others. He especially enjoyed hosting lively games of pitch, poker, and blackjack at his house where the cards, the company, the music and the laughter always made for good memories. He was kind, silly and easygoing, someone who could make people feel comfortable no matter what.

He leaves behind his children, Shane Harrington (Tina) of Pittsfield and Angel Emerson (Daniel), of Leeds, MA; his grandchildren, Anthony, Jalen, Caiden, Connor, and great granddaughter, Adaline. Two sisters, Dawn "Peachy" Mathes (George) and Lisa Harrington, brother, Gary Harrington and his special companion, Virginia Perkins.

Brian will be remembered for his big heart, great music taste, goofy sense of humor, and the love he shared with his family and friends
