Brian W. Hartzell

Brian W. Hartzell of Warrington, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away at the age of 40 on October 9, 2023. Brian was the beloved husband of Diane L. Nelson, loving son of William and Heidianne Hartzell, and dear brother of Jarrad Hartzell (Alexis Dickens), his brother-in-law Francis Nelson IV (Heather Flinn), and his parents-in-law, Francis and Judith Nelson. Also surviving are his loving nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and his Philadelphia Police Department family.Relatives and friends are invited to share in Brian's Life Celebration on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at John F. Givnish of 10975 Academy Rd., Phila, PA 19154, and on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 9:00 – 9:45 AM at the Church of St. William, 6200 Rising Sun Ave., Phila, PA 19111. His Funeral Mass will start at 10:00 AM. Interment following at Oakland Cemetery, Adams & Ramona Aves., Phila., PA 19124. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial contributions should be made in Brian's memory to F.O.P. Lodge 5 Survivors Fund, 11630 Caroline Rd., Phila, PA 19154.
