Brian O'Neil Hubbard, a devoted husband, loving father and pillar of his community, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. Born on February 27, 1971 to the late Larry Don Hubbard and Nancy Ruth Moody Hubbard of Rose Creek.

Brian's life was a testament of what it means to be a public servant. He dedicated 25 years to the Farmington Police Department, serving as Chief of Police since 2007. Brian served his community with courage and integrity, always believing in the power of building trust and forging strong relationships between law enforcement and residents. Brian's passion for his "brothers and sisters" of blue ran deeper than anyone of us knew.

In his career, Brian was instrumental in the 'Shop with a Cop' and 'Pinwheels for Prevention' both advocating for the youth of Northwest Arkansas.

Throughout his career, Late Chief Hubbard was recognized for his exemplary service and heroism. His notable achievements include Officer of the Year award 2005, Law Enforcement Commendation Medal 2008 and First of its kind 'Trailblazer' Award 2023 which he said, "meant the most."

His friendly demeanor and genuine compassion were a testament to his belief that positive relationships were as important as enforcing the law. He will be deeply missed by all the lives he touched, both on and off duty.

Brian is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Racheal; two boys: Justin (Kayleigh) and Blake Hubbard; his mother, Nancy Hubbard, two sisters: Cheryll Hubbard, Jennifer (Brian) Hall, brother in law Darin Evans; Nieces and Nephews: Meghan Black (Jeff), Hunter Hall (Lauren), Hannah Bradford (Rhett) and Harrison Hall; and his brothers and sisters of the Farmington Police Department, who will carry on his legacy of service.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Grace Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Saturday, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service. Honor Guard ceremony to honor his service and burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Keith Brixey, Curtis Hubbard, Brian Hall, Hunter Hall, Harrison Hall and Rhett Bradford.

Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Deckard and Retired Lieutenant John Collins; Standing Watch will be Chief Mike Wilbanks, Lieutenant James Brotherton and Deputy Chief Chad Parrish.
