Brian Royce Jones

Brian Royce Jones, of Clearfield, passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 51.

Brian was born on March 4, 1974, in Los Angeles, to Clenon Anthony James and Delores Phyllis Pleasant.

Brian had a tremendous hunger for knowledge and was always reading, listening, and watching to better understand the world around him. He enjoyed podcasts and movies, and he found particular joy in cooking, constantly experimenting with new recipes and techniques. Brian excelled at whatever he set his mind to. He aspired to be an entrepreneur and hoped to one day open a business of his own, often planning layouts and carefully thinking through every detail of his ideas.

Brian is survived by his son, Kyzean Xavier Jones; his mother, Delores Pleasant; as well as many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clenon Jones; his grandmother, Louise Jones; and his grandfather, Joe Pleasant.

A memorial service will be held on March 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah 84092.
