Brian Joseph was born on April 18, 1958, in Kenner, Louisiana, to the late Margie Joseph and Herman "Piggy Joseph. He passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025
He was a proud student of Bonnabel High School. He contributed his time and talents working with the Job Corps where he obtained his Mechanics Certificate and worked as a skilled mechanic with Duhon Bobcat Company for 14 years. Known for his strong work ethie and dependable spirit. Brian left a lasting impression on everyone he worked with.
Outside of work, Brian had a true passion for cooking and singing. He would often be heard singing with joy, whether at church or around the house. His most well known and beloved dish was Red Beans and Rice a family favorite that he prepared just like his mother, Margie. His love for the grill with his brothers always brought comfort and joy to family and friends at every gathering
Brian was a man of faith and attended New Orleans East Serenth Day Adventist Church, where he found strength and fellowship wit his family and loved ones.
He is survied by his loving siblings: Valeric Coats (Willic), Sharon Chissell. Vandetta Dussett (Diamond). Yolanda Harris (Ralph). Marsha Thompson Jerome). Darren Joseph, and Stanley Joseph (Linda). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margie and Herman "Pigay"
Joseph and his beloved brother Tony Joseph.
Though Brian may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever remain in the laughter of family gatherings, the aroma of a home cooked mcal, and the quiet moments of reflection. His life was a gift to all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished always.
