A cab driver for over 20 years, Brian was a proud Bostonian and a passionate New England sports fan. He was an avid reader in his free time, enjoying crime stories and spy thrillers. Brian will be remembered for being a dedicated brother, son, uncle, and friend. He demonstrated immense loyalty and care for his family, reliably supporting others through challenging times.
Brian was predeceased by his father, Allan McCarthy, and aunt, Mary Lou McCarthy. He is survived by his mother, Maryellen, his siblings, and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. The family would like to extend their appreciation to East Boston Neighborhood Health Center for their compassion and support.
