Brian Moore

Brian Moore, born on May 2, 1960, in Midland, Michigan, passed away at the age of 65 on October 30, 2025, in Downers Grove, Illinois. Brian lived most of his life in Western Springs and Downers Grove, Illinois.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Caroline Moore (Parker); father, David Moore; sister, Melinda Moore; and brother, David Randall Moore. Surviving Brian are his wife of 38 years Bonny; daughter Julie and her husband, Alex; daughter Sarah; son Bradley and his wife, Stori Kelso, and their children, Anduin and Alaric. He was the beloved brother of Rebecca Carnall and her husband, Richard, and a dedicated son-in-law to Joan Wetnight. He is also survived by extended family and friends whom he deeply valued.

Brian loved spending time with his children and was a mainstay at sporting events and band performances. He also enjoyed exploring nature with his family on summer vacations. Brian particularly loved walking through Morton Arboretum with Bonny. One of his favorite pastimes was riding his bicycle with his friends and family. Brian had a special affection for dogs and enjoyed long walks with their family dogs – Maddie, Maya, and Mabel. He worked in IT throughout his career, taking on a variety of roles across several companies.

Those who spent time with Brian could not help but experience his kindness and compassion. He was incredibly handy and always ready to lend a hand or finish a project. Brian's thoughtful nature and gentle presence will be missed by all who knew him.
