Dr. Moran performed Brachytherapy surgery on me for my prostate cancer in December of 2013. I am so saddened to hear this news of his passing. He saved a lot of us, but now he´s gone. He was referred to me because he was the best. We have lost giant. RIP Brian. We will meet again.

So, so sorry to hear about Brian´s recent passing. I had both the pleasure and privilege of knowing and working not only with Brian but also his brothers George and Mike and other dear family members during my urological training and career. So many fond memories.
Brian loved and lived life to the fullest and a shining example to all of us. He was truly a pillar in so many ways and admired and respected by all. Though his presence will be greatly missed, his wonderful personality, smile, and legacy will live on and be carried in the hearts and minds by all who knew Brian. My heartfelt and deepest condolences to the entire Moran family.

I worked with Brian at Lutheran General way back when as a RadiationTherapist. Please know that I thought the world of him! May his memory be a blessing.

When my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer, the amazing Dr. Moran assured him that he would help. Then he looked at me, saw my concern and distress, then said: Don't worry I will take care of him! I will never forget that he took that moment to give us both the assurances of his expert care. We are and will always be grateful for him as well as his medical expertise and care.
A quote from James Joyce says: They lived and laughed and loved...and left."
For Dr. Moran we would add: And the world is better for his having been in it in many ways.

Brian never knew me until I contacted him with questions about my diagnosis. He was exceedingly gracious and looked at my records and got back to me and discussed my outlook. He quickly put me at ease and answered all my questions and offered an open line should I have any other concerns. His willingness to take time for me and his compassion were greatly appreciated.

Brian was a friend and then my doctor. There was no difference. Whether on the first tee, in the street or in the office, "Doc" always had that sincere smile beaming from his face. The real "great guy".

He jumped in the pool to pull me out when I hit my head on the diving board when I was 8. He called me in NC to motivate me to fight when I was diagnosed with testicular cancer at 35. My family loves you Brian and we will miss your smiles and laugh.

Hanging out with my brother Kent in high school. A shared love of car racing. Did B.O.W together.
Brian helped my brother with his own cancer and answered the tough stuff but blasted him with hope and encouragement.
God created one of the kindest, genuine, funniest guy in Brian.
There´s a few of his buddies in Heaven so excited to see him.

Brian was a beloved cousin, and the first baby I ever held - when I was 10 years old. He was an extraordinary person from infancy till his death: full of energy, wit, adventurousness and charm. He and my mother Loretta had a special relationship - they adored each other. His family - and all of us who loved him - will miss him terribly, but what an example he left for us on a life well-lived! Just one of a kind.
