Brian Joseph Ozimek

Brian Ozimek, 61, loving father, brother, and uncle passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2022.
Born on March 17, 1961, he was the youngest son to the late Joseph and Wanda Ozimek.
A machinist by trade for over 25 years at Ford Motor Company, ZF Sachs, and Fisher Coach Works, his love of tinkering with machines didn't stop at the end of the workday. During his free time, Brian could be found in his garage working on bicycles, lawnmowers, model trains, and even mini motorbikes.
Brian was an avid garage sale patron. He was always on the lookout for a special something he thought others would enjoy.
His family and friends look fondly at the numerous trinkets, sports paraphernalia, or repurposed action figures that Brian had thoughtfully gifted.
Recently, if you frequented the Home Depot in Farmington Hills with your dog, Brian was likely there to greet you with a wide smile and a request that he take a photo or video of your pup to share with his daughters and daughter-in-law.
A loving, thoughtful, and caring man to those that knew him, he will be greatly missed.
Brian is survived by his sisters Celeste (Tim) Roe, and Donna (Craig) Crawford, his brother Ron (Jo) Ozimek, his son Jeremy (Andrea) Ozimek, and his daughters Jordan (David) Glaeser, and Megan (Alex) Ozimek.
There will be an open-house style celebration of life honoring Brian at the Uptown Grille on Maple Rd. in Commerce Twp.. Light lunch and refreshments will be served.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Michigan Humane Society in his honor.
