Nancy J. Ozimek, 67, formerly of Jamestown, died Sunday July 6, 2025, in Buffalo, NY.
Born and raised in Erie, PA, she was a daughter of the late Vincent Sadler and Ruth Schauble Holmstrom.
She was a graduate of Academy High School, Erie.
Prior to her retirement in 2009, she was employed by Jamestown Public Schools as a cafeteria worker and Fletcher and Bush Elementary Schools. She earlier had worked for the City of Jamestown as a crossing guard and by Kmart as a cashier.
While living in Jamestown, she was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir, a eucharistic Minister and worked in the thrift store. In Erie she attended Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church.
Surviving is a daughter Kayla Ozimek of North Tonawanda and siblings Shirley Agnew of Erie, Shirley Wagner of Fairview, PA, Ken Holmstrom of Erie and David Holmstrom of Celoron.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Mary Sadler, Janet MacGurn and Donna Thompson and brothers Norman, Albert, Robert and Vincent Sadler.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 am Friday in St. James Catholic Church, Jamestown, NY.
Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 4-6 pm Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home.
