BRIAN MICHAEL PARKER, AGE 71
And a resident of Mount Hermon passed away Tuesday morning October 25, 2023 at his home. He was a native and former longtime resident of Metairie. Brian was an entrepreneur throughout his life and operated many different types of businesses. He was the owner of People's Auto Repair in Kenner for a time and the owner/operator of C. Beevers Bar in Metairie for many years. Brian was a sailor and owned a beautiful sailboat for several years and he loved riding his motorcycle in his younger days. He was also a licensed airplane pilot and had his own small plane. Upon moving to Washington Parish, Brian even selected his home due to a nearby area for a small landing strip for his plane. He owned Photography With Altitude, taking aerial pictures of the town of Franklinton, a packed Washington Parish Fairgrounds during the Fair and many other communities, areas and events. Many of these large framed photographs are prominently displayed in government buildings and businesses all around town. Brian was a wonderful husband, brother, son in law and friend, always with a thoughtful mind toward the needs of others.
Survived by:
Sister and Brother in law: Carolyn and Gary Baylor of Metairie
Mother in law: Bebe Baynham of Mt. Hermon
Special Friends: Gene and Alicia Walters,
Josh Hughes
Also numerous cousins, other family members and friends
He was preceded in death by his wife Susie Baynham Parker and parents Warren George Parker and Doris Hoffman Parker.
A memorial service will be planned in the near future.

Brian was a long time friend from high school and many years till his passing. We were fraternity brothers and partied many years after high school. I always had my cars repaired at his People's Car Repair business in Kenner, visited his night club C. Beevers in Metairie and was friends on FB with him till his death. He was a smart, hard working friend and had so many good times with him. He is incredibly missed!
