Brian Scott Paulson passed away Sunday, January 26th in Brookings, SD. A memorial service will be held for Brian Friday February 7th, 2025 at 3:00pm with a visitation taking place one hour prior at Rude's Funeral Home in Brookings, SD.
Brian was born on October 29, 1957 in Pierre, SD. Brian was the son of Deloris Rieger and Donald Brown. He grew up in Pierre, SD and attended school at Riggs High School before enlisting in the army in 1975 for a brief period of time.
Brian met Cindy Strom and was united in marriage on June 5,1980 in Rock Spring Wyoming where they had 3 children, Cyrus, Nicholas, and Samantha. In 1985 they moved back to South Dakota in 1985 before moving to the Brookings Area in 1987.
Brian worked at Twin City Fan until he found his true calling as a masonry for Discmacon until he became disabled. While disabled he still took care of everyone including his grandchildren who he loved the most.
Brian had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, going camping, and riding his Indian scout motorcycle which was his passion. Brian was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was always happy and could tell you some amazing stories. He never let life get him down and was the strongest I knew.
