I grew up with Dave (who passed in February 1988), played sports with him, and enjoyed walking down Main Street for several years, in all types of weather winter and summer, to Bob's Hobby Shop so Dave could make his miniature train set even larger! My late wife Susan and I attended Dave and Becky's wedding in 1967 (I think). Sue and I would visit with them, when they lived on fourth street, on a regular basis in the 1970s on Saturday night to play cards, and maybe go out for a pizza. One Saturday night, when Brian was maybe 2 years old, Sue and I were shocked when we saw him running all around the house, up the stairs to his bedroom, down the stairs, and then do it all again............constantly! That kid had amazing energy! Dave and Becky told us that it was "normal" for Brian to do that! Brian was always a very cool and likeable kid! :) P.S. When Dave died several of us, who were his friends, were pall bearers at his funeral. It was a VERY cold day, and when we were carrying the casket through the front door of the church, we all noticed that it took about 20 minutes for the funeral people to open the rear door of the hearse, which had frozen shut! I'm certain that if Dave would have been with us he would have laughed at that scene, because he had a great sense of humor! :)
R.I.P., Brian
