Rebecca Shrode, 70, passed away November 22nd after an abrupt and unexpected battle with respiratory failure.
Rebecca connected with many people and made countless wonderful friends in different communities over the years. She enjoyed bringing people together through organizing many gatherings, from her high school's reunions to Tin Can Tourist camping events. Her legacy lives on in every happy memory friends and acquaintances made with her.
She was well known for her spirit and her red Z3 convertible, and her passion for reaching across the political aisle to have conversations with people she didn't agree with never faded. Her interests ranged from genealogy to photography.
She is survived by her husband and best friend Paul, her daughter Anne Elizabeth, stepdaughters Jenny and Leslie and brother Robert.
