Brian Keith Peek, 67, of York Haven, tragically passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 while on duty as a volunteer fire police officer. Born December 14, 1956, in Schenectady, NY, he was a son of the late Howard and Ella Anne (Freer) Peek. Brian was the loving husband of the late Wendy Peek, who passed away in 2022.
He was a proud member of the Goldsboro Fire Company, the Goldsboro Fireman's Club, and was former member of Fairview Township Fire Company, Malabar Fire Company in Florida, and Middle River Fire Company in Maryland. He was an amateur ham radio operator and belonged to "21 Club" in Harrisburg and the "52 Crew" in Florida. His passion was for firefighting, but also enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Brian leaves behind his sons, James Peek and wife Pamela, and Jonathan Peek and wife Carmella; Step-Sons Bob Diodato wife Nancy and David Diodato wife Patti; his 1 brother, Gary Peek; 18 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; extended family; his fire company family; and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Nancy Peek.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, 1:30PM at Fairview Township Fire Station 1, 340 Lewisberry Rd, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Goldsboro Fire Company No. 1, 11 1st Ave, Goldsboro, PA 17319.
