In Loving Memory of Brian Keith Pfender, Jr.
June 10, 1992 – September 26, 2025
It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Brian Keith Pfender, Jr., age 33, of Pittsburgh, PA, on September 26, 2025.
Born on June 10, 1992, in Pittsburgh, Brian was the beloved son of Lisa and Brian K. Pfender, Sr. From a young age, Brian was known for his infectious smile, boundless energy, and the deep love he carried for his family and friends. He lived life with passion, humor, and a heart that was always open to others.
Brian had a deep love for the water and was happiest jet skiing or spending time with loved ones on beach vacations. His most cherished moments, however, were those spent with his son, Brayden. Whether they were tossing a baseball, laughing together, or simply enjoying each other's company, Brian's devotion to Brayden was unwavering - he was, without question, the center of Brian's world.
Those who knew Brian will remember him for his big heart, his gentle spirit, and his ability to make others feel seen, heard, and loved. He had a way of bringing light into any room, and his presence will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his treasured son Brayden; his sister, Ashley (Dylan Hower) Kozlowski; his grandparents, Elizabeth Pfender and Richard and Anna "Kathy" Kozlowski; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care.
Though his time with us was far too short, Brian's love, laughter, and spirit will live on in those who loved him most. His memory will be a guiding light - a reminder of how precious life is, and how deeply we are capable of loving.
Rest peacefully, Brian. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
