Brian Resa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Halley Olsen Chapel of The Valley - Palmdale on Dec. 11, 2025.
It's with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I share the truly devastating news of our dear brother, Brian John Resa's passing. Brian left us on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Palmdale, California, at the age of 59.
While our hearts ache with his absence, I find a small measure of comfort in knowing he is now reunited with Mom, Dolores, and our beloved brothers Chris and Steve, who preceded him in death. He is survived by our father, Ernest Resa; oldest brother, David, and his wife, Beth, in Wichita, Kansas; and Cathy and Kevin Fitzgerald in North Pole, Alaska. Brian also leaves behind a loving circle of numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins spread across the country, all of whom he deeply cherished.
Brian, our youngest, always held a special place in all our hearts. He possessed an infectious laugh and an unparalleled ability to find joy and humor in any situation, a trait I will miss more than words can express. His passion for life was evident from his early days at Paraclete High School, where he not only excelled on the baseball and basketball fields but truly shone with his remarkable musical talents. He continued his education at Long Beach State University, which then led him to a successful and dedicated career in consumer electronics for many years.
Brian truly lived for those moments of camaraderie and shared joy, and those experiences will forever be etched in my mind as defining parts of our lives together.
His loyalty and selfless nature were perhaps most clearly demonstrated in recent years. After Mom's passing, both Brian and Steve dedicated themselves to looking after Dad, ensuring he was never alone. Their unwavering devotion speaks volumes about the depth of Brian's love for our family.
As we come to terms with this profound loss, if you wish to send condolences, cards can be sent to Dad at 38926 Foxholm Dr, Palmdale, Ca 93551 To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Brian, please visit our floral store.
