Steve attended Juniper Elementary School, Paraclete High School and the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. He played basketball and baseball in high school, and achieved All League, and All CIF status with CIF Champs in1980.And participated in the Men's Baseball league in Fairbanks, Alaska.
He loved following his beloved LA Dodgers, the UCLA Bruins, LA Lakers and the local Lancaster Jethawks baseball team. And attended countless games at the Jet-hawks with family and friends.
And loved showing and sharing stories and photos of his Alaska grandkids! Steve was also a member of MENSA , high IQ club.
Steve was an avid music fan of Eric Clapton and Southern California Rock.
