Christian Lamfers

Christian Anthony Lamfers was born on Monday January 15, 1990, in Palmdale, California. He attended Antelope Valley Christian School through the 8th grade. During his high school years, he attended Highland High School, Paraclete High School and graduated from Opportunities For Learning. Christian also spent a year at the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen, Texas. As a sophomore there he played Varsity Basketball and was being scouted by various colleges. He also excelled at the rifle range.
Christian began his bartending career in San Francisco while attending The Academy of Art University where he studied Film. He returned to the Antelope Valley and continued to work in the food service industry. Over the years he worked at various bars and restaurants in Palmdale and Lancaster, California.
Christian was an excellent singer, song writer, actor and dancer. He performed in plays, including a lead in "High School Musical" at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center and "Footloose" at the Palmdale Playhouse. He also had a leading role in a television pilot "In The Soup." He created a comedic character "Mike Pancake" and can be seen in various other videos on YouTube.
Christian enjoyed bowling, watching football and basketball, playing slot machines, and spending the day at Santa Anita Park or Disneyland. As a youth he played basketball, football, soccer, and he recently tried pickleball for the first time.
On Wednesday June 15, 2022, God called Christian home. Christian was a kind, loving, gentle soul. He was loved and will be missed by many.
Christian is survived by his parents Terry and Nancy Lamfers of Palmdale, California, his sister Jessie Lamfers of Cooper City, Florida, his brother Griffin Lamfers of Lancaster, California, his grandmother Jan Lamfers of Sibley, Iowa and three nieces, Alexandra (Ali) Lamfers of Lancaster, California, Emma Schwartz and Alora Schwartz of Cooper City, Florida. Many aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
