Brian Tobin Rivera, age 32, of McDonough, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024. He was born on June 2, 1992 to Brian William Tobin, Sr. who has preceded him in death and his mom, Mary Rivera who survives him. Brian was a sweet angel and a shining light whenever he entered a room. He was funny, witty, and had a saying that he had a back-to-school program called, "The Brian Show!" He loved Mario from the Mario Brothers, Cops TV show, loved to eat, especially pizza. One of Brian's favorite characters was The Cookie Monster. He spent some time in his second home, Seabreeze, where he was loved and very happy. Brian called everyone there "his staff." Brian considered the staff his close friends and family. His favorite people at Seabreeze were, Lonnie Anderson, Anna Hayes, Mina Murphy, Makesi Foy, his wonderful nurse Maria Walker, and the adorable Nicole Lashley that made him blush.
Brian is survived by his mom Mary and his father whom he looked up to and has been a part of his life for many years, Hector Rivera, his brother, Joseph Robert Tobin, along with other family members and close friends.
A Memorial Service for Brian will be held at 12 o'clock, Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home with Chaplain Rachel Ellis officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 o'clock until 12 o'clock at the funeral home prior to the service.

Heavenly Father, on this day, my son's birthday, I lift my heart to you in remembrance and gratitude. Though he is not physically here, his memory remains a cherished light in my life. I thank you for the years of love, laughter, and joy he brought into our family. I find comfort in knowing that his spirit is at peace, and I trust that one day, I will see him again. My Dear Son, Brian.
You were a blessing, and bright star to our family, and all who met, and loved you. You were a gift. Mom and I loved you so much the minute you were born. You, and your brother, Joseph, were/are our world.

I feel such gratitude, and warmth for
Hector in showing his love, and helping you, Joseph, and Mom, especially during the most difficult times. Humblest, and deepest form of love & appreciation.

I was always watching over you everyday from above, Brian; smiling at your strength, humor, happiness & love, and all those stuffed characters & animal friends....watching you grow into a fine young man, who everyone loved. So proud of you, my dear loving son.

Now I am here, opening my arms to hug you securely, tightly, as you join me in Heaven by the Grace of God.
Love is Forever,
Dad (written by Aunt Barbara)
