Brian Ross Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gramer Funeral Home - Clawson on Oct. 26, 2024.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Lee Ross, a beloved partner, cherished brother and friend, and a kind soul who touched the lives of so many.
Brian passed away on Wednesday October 23, 2024 at the age of 66.
Brian was born April 13, 1958 in Royal Oak, Michigan the son of the late Charles Edward and Nova Lorraine (Farris) Ross.
In loving memory of a remarkable soul, a dedicated soldier who proudly served his country with honor and strength. He found joy in life's quiet moments-building intricate computers, a passion that reflected his patience and attention to detail, and finding peace in the mountains, his footsteps echoing along hiking trails where he felt most alive. His love for the art of marksmanship mirrored his precision and focus, qualities that radiated through all he did. And in books, he found new worlds and ideas, expanding his mind even as he held steadfast to his values. His humor, kindness, and courage will live on in our hearts and memories. He was loved dearly and will be missed beyond words.
Brian is survived by his partner of over 24 years Kathy Baker; siblings; Myrna Khoubesser; Gary and Doug Ross, Robert and Jan Ross and Tina and Mark Filipowicz; and numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Nova Ross; siblings; Ronnie Ross, Sharon Brook and Candy Hadley.
Visitation will be held at Gramer Funeral Home at 705 North Main Street Clawson, Michigan on Saturday November 2, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Services will begin at 12 noon with Internment immediately following at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
Memorial Donation may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Plaza, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
Though Brian has left this world, the love he shared and the memories we made will remain with us forever. Our hearts are broken, yet we find comfort in knowing he is at peace. Brian will be deeply missed but will live on in our hearts, loved and remembered always.
