Brian P. Vandehey, 52, passed away September 9, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Brian considered his hometown Augusta, WI, where he attended kindergarten through his Augusta High School graduation in 1990.
He played basketball and graduated from Truman State University in Missouri.
Brian started his employment and continued in management with Parking Spot Airport Parking his entire career.
By taking a 2 year sabbatical Brian fulfilled his dream of "backpacking around the world, " culminating with meeting his brother Ben in Fiji; and ending with Ben, Mick and Bert in Australia.
Brian cherished the friends he made in Augusta, college, in Kirksville, employment at the Parking Spot, life in California and travels around the world. Brian also had many Vandehey and Lifto cousins he considered friends.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank all of you for your kind words and prayers and for loving him.
Brian is survived by his son Lucas; brother and special friend Benjamin; father Micky and mother Roberta. The highlight of Brian's life is his precious son, happy Lucas.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at the Augusta Lions Hall in Augusta, followed by a celebration of life until 6 p.m. at the hall.
