Brian Whittier, age 40, of Temple, passed from this life on Thursday, October 16, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Temple.

Brian was born on October 30, 1984, in Temple, Texas, to Robert and Susan Whittier. He was a man full of curiosity and heart, always eager to lend a hand and brighten the lives of those around him.

Brian had a love for gaming, Formula One racing, ATV racing, and minibikes. He enjoyed motorcycle trips, listening to rap music, and discovering new restaurants—especially Chinese and Italian cuisine. A creative soul, he also found joy in building computers and sharing his passions with others.

He loved deeply and gave freely, cherishing both his family by birth and the family he chose along the way. His generous spirit and kind heart left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Whittier. He is survived by his father, Robert Whittier; his sister, Adrienne Olivares; and his very special significant other, Jennifer Ruiz.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Baylor Scott & White for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Brian.

Brian will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
