Bridget T. McGuire, 92, of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Sunnybrook Assisted Living. She was born in County Clare, Ireland, to the late Julia and Martin O'Looney. She was also predeceased by her husband Thomas McGuire, son Robert McGuire, brother Christopher Looney, and sisters, Kathleen, Mary, and Annie.
Bridget arrived in New York at the young age of 19 to work and send money to help her family in Ireland. She met her beloved Tom, married, and had a son Robert. They resided in New York and lived in California before coming to Hendersonville over 30 plus years ago. Bridget was loved by all who knew her and was a kind and giving person to all that were blessed to meet her.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
Bridget is survived by her sisters, Eileen and Sheila of the United Kingdom; brother, Michael Looney of the United Kingdom; sister in-law Delia Looney of New Jersey; nephews, Noel and Kevin; nieces, Julie, Kelly, Theresa, and Jacqueline; several great nieces and nephews of the United Kingdom. She also leaves many close friends here in Hendersonville that loved and cared for her and will miss her dearly.

A memorial mass will be held at two o'clock on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
