Christine Capps passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 59.

She has now reunited with her Husband, Dennis Capps who passed away in December 2020.

Christine devoted many years of her life to serving as a switchboard operator at Pardee Hospital. Her work was marked by her dedication and kindness, always ensuring that everyone felt welcome and cared for.

Beyond her personal life Christine found joy in the simple things in life. She was a lover of music and spent many hours fishing as a pastime. Her love for animals was evident to all who knew her and she never hesitated to care for any creature or person in need.

Christine was also a devoted sports fan, watching football games with a special fondness for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, above all else, Christine treasured her family. She loved the times she spent with her loved ones creating memories filled with laughter and love. Her family gatherings were moments she held dear and her legacy of love and togetherness will be fondly remembered.

She leaves behind a devoted family who will continue to celebrate her life and memory: her daughter, Renee Mashburn; her stepdaughter, Denise Riley and her husband Nick Riley; and her grandchildren Montana, Dakota, Helen, Jordan, Christine, and Mason.

She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Shelton and Judy Wallen; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her life will be celebrated at a later date.
