Bridget Camille Schroeder

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Bridget Camille (Franck) Schroeder on January 27, 2026, in Eugene, Oregon.

Born in Macomb, IL on November 12, 1969, she was the loving daughter of Thomas Charles Franck of Cabot, AR and Patricia (Woody) Franck of Eugene, Oregon.

Bridget is survived by both of her parents, her child, Sedna (Lucian) Schroeder, step mother, Sandy (Gabrion) Franck, stepsisters, Leslie (Franck) Miller and Dana Gabrion along with a number of Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Bridget was a very intelligent person with a heart bigger than most. She had a wide variety of interests and passions including music, art, linguistics and gardening.

Musically, her roots were found in, but not limited to punk rock. Patti Smith and The Ramones were some of her favorites but her musical interests extended to all genres. Bridget just appreciated and loved music. She was very creative and loved to draw and make all sorts of crafts as gifts for others. Her love and understanding of the English language was amazing. Bridget was an avid reader and loved solving word puzzles, especially crossword puzzles. Gardening and nature was a big part of Bridget's being. She loved to plant a seed and watch it emerge and come to life. A large part of her working life was dedicated to those less fortunate. Whether they were down trodden, struggling with addictions, or mental disabilities, Bridget felt a calling to help them in any way possible.

But above all else, her greatest love was for her child, Sedna. Bridget's vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her. She had a deep love for her family and friends and shared it freely through her kindness, warmth and generosity. Bridget's strength was undeniably amazing as she was able to take on so much, where others would falter, with a smile. A bright shining light has left us but her impact will remain forever with all who were blessed and fortunate enough to have shared in her presence.
