Bridget "Bridgie" Ward, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully on June 7th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 76 years old.
Born on December 31, 1948, to Eddie and Nancy Carr, Bridgie was raised in a home full of love and warmth. She graduated from Assisium High School in 1966 and went on to dedicate many years of her life working with several cherished physicians, touching countless lives with her kindness, dedication, and gentle spirit.
Bridgie will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 49 years, Richie; her daughter Michelle and son-in-law Pat Lindquist; her son Michael Foti and daughter-in-law Kristen; her son Richard; and her five beloved grandchildren: Patrick, Sarah, Denis, Michael, and Elizabeth. She also leaves behind her loving siblings: Catherine Lynch, Edward Carr and his wife Anne, Jimmy Carr and his wife Karen, Mary Donovan and her husband Phil, and Teddy Carr and his wife Barbara. Bridgie's extended family includes her two cherished nieces, seven nephews, many great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as her dear friend Pat O'Hagan, who was like family to her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eddie and Nancy Carr; her in-laws, John and Marcella Ward; her brother-in-law, Joseph Lynch; and her dear friend, Dan O'Hagan.
Bridgie's greatest joy came from being a grandmother. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren-whether it was cheering them on at events, sharing quiet conversations, or simply watching them grow up. Her love for them was boundless, and her pride in each of them knew no limits.
Bridgie's life was a testament to family, love, loyalty, and grace. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
