Bridgett Jeannine Summers Bednar, lovingly known as "Critter," passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, in San Angelo, Texas, surrounded by her family. Born on November 3, 1969, she was the cherished daughter of the late George Jodie Summers and Reba Elaine Pettiet.
Services will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with pastor Michael Thompson, officiating. Burial will follow in Paint Rock Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. There will be no public viewing.
Bridgett found joy in life's simple pleasures. She treasured mornings spent on her porch with a warm cup of coffee in hand and the companionship of her beloved pets nearby. A creative spirit at heart, she especially enjoyed crafting alongside her youngest daughter Alyssa. Bridgett was also a proud and dedicated band mom who wholeheartedly supported her children in their pursuits and passions.
Bridgett is survived by her devoted husband, Vanzant Bednar; her children, Albert Rivera, Elaina Harrell, Ashlyn Bednar, and Alyssa Bednar; and her grandchildren, Waylon Carpenter, Slayton Carpenter, Cheyenne Harrell, Dayton Harrell, Colton Harrell, Jayton Harrell, and Rylan Rivera.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved daughter Cheyenne Bednar.
Her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on all who knew her. May those who mourn her passing find comfort in the memories of her kind spirit and enduring love.
