With grace, warmth, and an unwavering love for her family, Brigette Sutton Allen passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025, at the age of 65. A devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved sister, Brigette's greatest joy in life was being a Mama and a Mimi, roles she embraced with boundless love and dedication.
Brigette found purpose and fulfillment in her work as a special needs caregiver with Howell's Child Care, where her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many. She had a deep appreciation for history and tradition, often immersing herself in antiquing and researching her family heritage. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with her loved ones, finding joy in their laughter and presence.
She lived by the simple yet profound philosophy:
"Life is a challenge – meet it.
Life is a dream – realize it.
Life is a sacrifice – offer it.
Life is love – enjoy it."
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. A graveside service to celebrate Brigette's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in Fairview Cemetery.
Brigette is lovingly survived by her daughter, Chastity Allen Jameson, and her husband, Garrett; her granddaughter, Brianna Lynn Jameson; and her sister, Julie Sutton Thompson, and her husband, Rick. She was welcomed into eternal rest by her parents, Needham Farrell Sutton and Anne Roberts Sutton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Brigette's honor to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Brigette's love, kindness, and gentle spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
